With a warm welcome we greet you in the name of Christ! God offers each of us acceptance and love. At St. James First Assembly, we strive to show love to our Creator and pass that love to others as we gather as God's family.

We would love for you to make First Assembly your church home. If you are just passing through the area, please feel free to join us for one of our services! We are easily accessible from Interstate 44, at the St. James 195 Exit. Truckers are welcome with semi parking available on the east parking lot.

Pastor Darrell and Stephanie Nichols came to St James First Assembly of God in October of 2025. They are the proud parents of Chloe, John, Ezra, and Autumn, and are happy to call Phelps County their home. Before coming to Missouri, Bro. Darrell spent 13 years in New Mexico public works and served on the Bloomfield Municipal Board of Education. He has been an Assemblies of God pastor, serving in full-time ministry alongside Stephanie, since 2012. Stephanie serves First Assembly as the office receptionist and Pastor Darrell's administrative assistant. She is a certified biblical lay counselor and has specialized in ministering to young ladies since 2015.
